Description:   The project is governed by a project cooperation agreement between the Kabataang Gabay sa Positibong Pamumuhay and UNICEF Country Programme for Children - 6 HIV Prevention Component and covers the... Goals:   5-year Programme Outcomes: 80% of identified women in prostitution (WIP) and most-at-risk children and youth (MARCY)** in selected urban/izing poor Barangays of Iloilo City and Guimaras are empowered to protect themselves from HIV and risk factors for HIV infection. 5-year Project Results 1. Local policies/ordinances have been amended/enacted to address HIV/AIDS concerns/issues of WIP and MARCY in Iloilo City and Guimaras; 2. Existing public health service facilities in selected districts of Iloilo City and municipalities of Guimaras are providing HIV/AIDS and adolescent reproductive health (ARH) information and services, including voluntary counseling and testing (VCT); and 3. Community-based interventions have reached 80% of the WIP and MARCY in selected urban/izing poor Barangays of Iloilo City and selected municipalities of Guimaras
