As a New Yorker, I want to extend a huge thank you to the Sustainable South Bronx for their legislative victory! With SSBx lobbying, Albany passed a $4.50/sq foot green roof tax abatement policy!
That translates into 25% of the cost of the green roof. Why does this matter? ...... [view]

When news first broke about all those yellow cabs going green in New York City I was pretty excited. Now they are being rolled out and all the yellow cabs in NYC will have to be green by 2012 ! They taken a good initiative and made it better.
