To carry reusable bag with me to shopping and to avoid plastic bags

Submitted By:   monaditya
Date Created:  2008-07-12
Description:   Plastic bags are a big part of pollution in Kathmandu and developing parts of Nepal. I will carry a reusable shopping bag with me (of cotton, jute, etc.) most of the time I go out so that I can SAY 'NO THANKS' TO PLASTIC BAGS offered with goods I buy. This way I will help in the reduction of plastic waste. I will also encourage my family and friends to do the same.
